The program takes into consideration inclusion of technology, such as wearables and activity tracking, analysis of results vs program design, and use of resources and analytics for targeted and measured engagement.
Gilbane ranked No. 2 in the 1,500 - 4,999 employees category for the PBN list of the region’s healthiest employers. The winning companies were grouped in five categories based on their overall employee base and ranked based on their Healthiest Employers’ scores. Gilbane’s overall score places the firm above the average Rhode Island and National benchmark.

The award program is based on surveys that are given, scored and compared with national benchmarks by Healthiest Employers, an Indianapolis-based health and wellness researcher. The submission was sent in through Gilbane’s wellness vendor StayFit Plan a division of Simplicity Health Plans. The assessments are scored by the Springbuk health analytics engine. The award tool, is designed to pinpoint accuracy in engagement and improvement of the company’s worksite wellness program.
