“This is such an exhilarating opportunity, and I am honored to be the first woman to assume this position,” Garno said. “My goal is to affect change by working with other professionals to strengthen industry partnerships and bolster the growth and expansion of these key industries.”
At Greenberg Traurig, Garno’s law practice focuses on issues faced by the fashion community, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, trademark infringement, anti-counterfeiting, employment, and general business litigation. Her practice also includes working on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on white-collar defense and fraud actions.
Garno is also actively involved with professional and community organizations. She is the current Fundraising Chair, and former Board Chair, of the Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Southeastern Board.
