Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence (RMPEx) recently announced that it would start offering Lean Six Sigma training as part of its efforts to bring organizational learning, innovation, and continuous improvement techniques to firms located in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. RMPEx is the administrator for the Baldrige Award for Excellence in these areas, and now offers Lean Six Sigma training to its members and other interested organizations. The training is available in a blended format for individuals interested in professional development and organizations seeking enhanced capability to improve their business processes. The training is initially available for Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, an intermediate level of training that is widely applicable to many industries and process problems. Organizational members of RMPEx can receive discounted pricing and other member benefits associated with the training.
Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence selected MoreSteam.com as its partner in offering the Lean Six Sigma training. MoreSteam, the leading provider of online Lean Six Sigma training, serves a global clientele. In making the announcement, RMPEx’s Chair, Dr. Doug Gilbert, commented on the new relationship: “We are excited to be able to provide a new and valuable benefit to our Baldrige community. In today’s competitive environment, where global competition meaningfully impacts local companies and organizations, achieving organizational and operational excellence is more imperative than ever. The training we are able to offer with MoreSteam provides a means for organizations to invest in their people and to develop the capability for sustained excellence.”
The new RMPEx training program incorporates an innovative combination of expert coaching and facilitation, a week of instructor-led training, and one-year access to MoreSteam eLearning. The initial training wave is scheduled to kick off in October, with the week-long instruction to be hosted in Denver. Tim Kelley, MoreSteam’s Executive Vice President observed, “Our most successful customers combine activity-based instruction and coaching with self-paced eLearning. The thoughtful instructional design used by RMPEx reflects the organization’s dedication to excellence and will produce superior results.”
