Ten-Year-Old Boy Goes from Brain Injury to Boss with His Own YouTube Business
McLean, VA (PRWEB) October 14, 2016 -- Monday, October 17, 2016 is National Boss's Day and while employees across the nation will celebrate their employers, a ten-year-old boy is growing his own business "like a boss" with a focus on helping other kids too. Jesse Malhotra, or Mr. Malhotra as he is known on YouTube, has gone from brain injury to “boss” with his own business, “Become a YouTuber."
Jesse suffered a traumatic brain injury from a car accident in July 2014. His mother, Angela shared how she watched her son go from energetic, playful and outgoing to extremely agitated, laying on the floor in pain and completely withdrawn from school. After six months of missed school, Angela followed the recommendation of a friend to take her son to Amen Clinic where he was officially diagnosed with traumatic brain injury (TBI). “Once we realized it was a TBI, we began to treat it. Jesse was back in school within a few months and won most improved student award after missing half of third grade. I'm beyond thrilled to see Jesse take his pain and turn it into a profitable passion," shared Angela Lauria, Jesse's mom.
Michael Buckley, internet celebrity, comedian and vlogger who has a million plus following on YouTube partnered with Jesse Malhotra to launch “Become a YouTuber” at MineCon 2016. Mr. Malhotra met several influencers including Sundee, Mango Tango, Parker Games, Zack Scott Games, Grace Helbig, Evan Era and Shane Dawson. "It's great to be a fan of YouTubers but what I learned from meeting so many of them was that being a creator is even better," said Mr. Malhotra.
Become A YouTuber is an interactive tutorial for children ages 8-14 who want to learn how to launch their own YouTube channel. It is designed to teach the insider tips and tricks of YouTube plus networking, financial literacy, and how to create a career where you do what you love.
