Lumeris Appoints New National Vice President, Market Operations
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (PRWEB) September 28, 2016 -- Lumeris, a pioneer in population health management solutions headquartered in St. Louis, is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Alexander as national vice president of market operations.
Alexander, a 20-year healthcare veteran with proven experience in population health services, will provide executive leadership, strategic vision and business management for Lumeris to drive overall solution outcomes. He will drive the performance and results of diverse functions throughout management and will lead teams of operators, clinicians, technologists and program managers. Alexander reports to J. Patrick Foley, senior vice president of delivery and operations.

Before joining Lumeris, Alexander worked with IU Health’s provider-sponsored health plans as a market president for Evolent Health. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience, 15 of which were spent operating Medicare and Medicaid health plans. Alexander also served as president for Community Care Alliance of Illinois, a provider-owned and sponsored start-up health plan in the greater Chicago area serving seniors, dual eligibles and persons with disabilities. He also served as vice president and general manager of Universal American’s (UAM) Indiana and Oklahoma health plan operations, where he led the launch of UAMs Medicare Advantage HMO product line in Indiana and the expansion of the PPO product into 89 new counties in six markets across three states.

Alexander, a Carmel, Ind., resident, is a graduate of Virginia Tech University with a bachelor of arts degree in history. Following graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and served as a communications and electronics officer in the United States Marine Corps 6th Marine Regiment and oversaw the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit.
