Direct marketing agency SeQuel Response announced today that its new Vice President of Business Growth Strategy is conducting a national search for sales leaders to help build on the firm’s projected 40% revenue surge this year.

“We’re on track to do nearly $40 million in sales revenue by year-end,” said Tim Finley, SeQuel’s latest VP-level hire. “If we want to continue the amazing growth curve that SeQuel has been on, we need to share our story to a more national audience of CMOs across the country.”

Finley has led or co-led three successful direct marketing and digital technology companies, including one that eventually sold to Omnicom Group. The 25-year industry vet and entrepreneur has launched new customer direct response campaigns for Pizza Hut, Southwest Airlines, Select Comfort, Sharper Image, Bose, Fairmont Hotels and many other top brands.

“SeQuel’s cutting-edge expertise in direct marketing and digital media merges perfectly with my agency-leadership experience,” Finley said. “I look forward to leading SeQuel’s expansion, as we prove our integrated direct response prowess to many more of America’s Fortune 5000 companies.”

The Eden Prairie, Minn.-based firm plans to add at least three new regional sales reps, which will put SeQuel’s total employee headcount at 30, a 76% increase since the beginning of 2016.

“A big reason for SeQuel’s growth is that members of our sales team are also seasoned marketing strategists,” said Jay Carroll, SeQuel’s Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer. “Tim is absolutely a thought leader in this industry, and if he recruits salespeople in a similar vein, SeQuel should have more exciting years ahead.”
