The collection utilized couture techniques and luxurious fabrications in modern interpretations of classic silhouettes. A modern translation of Evelyn Tripp's femme fatale character from infamous Smoke and Veil Vogue cover served as the collection's muse. Inspired by the romantic striations and reflections of moonlit waters, this collection previously received the highly coveted Nicole Miller Award for Best Dresses.
