Brian Gavin Diamonds Launches Black by Brian Gavin
HOUSTON (PRWEB) September 29, 2016 -- Ushering in a new standard in the light performance of diamonds, Brian Gavin Diamonds has unveiled its newest and most extraordinary diamond collection, Black by Brian Gavin. The collection features diamonds cut with the patent-pending “Gavin Effect,” a calculated technique to maximize super light performance and optical precision. The Black by Brian Gavin collection features some of the rarest and most impeccably cut diamonds in the world and represents years of meticulous research and experimentation by Brian Gavin Diamonds in conjunction with the American Gem Society Laboratories.
After decades of studying ideal cut diamonds and their proportions, “Brian the Cutter” Gavin, founder and owner of Brian Gavin Diamonds, uncovered diamond “Low-Intensity Light Zones.” Referred to as “Low-Intensity Light Zones” by Gavin because high intensity light was not being captured in these areas, the zones were preventing even the most ideal cut diamonds from delivering optimal light performance. The Brian Gavin Diamonds’ team went to the drawing board and set out to reach a new pinnacle of diamond cutting that would eliminate these zones and in turn usher in a breakthrough in the light performance of diamonds.
The Brian Gavin Diamonds team worked closely with the American Gem Society Laboratories to bring Black by Brian Gavin to life. The collection only features diamonds cut with the “Gavin Effect” technique, a proprietary cut enabling the light to be reflected off nearly the entire pavilion of the diamond, allowing these diamonds to deliver stunning optical performance and maximizing a Sure Sparkle. The Black by Brian Gavin collection features diamonds with D through G colors and IF though VS2 clarities. All diamonds in the collection also feature Brian Gavin’s Signature Hearts and Arrows motif to ensure the diamond embodies the perfect marriage of sparkle, brilliance, fire and scintillation. Each Black by Brian Gavin diamond undergoes a detailed inspection and is affirmed with an exclusive Black by Brian Gavin branded AGS Lab grading report.
“This diamond collection is unlike any other in the world,” said Brian Gavin. “Black by Brian Gavin is truly the pinnacle of my career and is born from my relentless passion and obsession with diamonds with impeccable performance, exacting precision and incomparable beauty,” continued Gavin.
The Hana Solitaire and the Sirisha Necklace are the first Black by Brian Gavin commissions. The Hana is a 2.55ct engagement ring with a Black by Brian Gavin D color and IF clarity rare type IIb diamond featuring the hearts and arrows effect.
The Sirisha necklace features 67 Black by Brian Gavin diamonds weighing over 52cts in a custom-built Rivera necklace set in platinum. Restrained in its approach and beautifully simple in its design, the necklace creates the illusion that the diamonds float above the body. Because the diamonds in the Sirisha Necklace are cut with the Black by Brian Gavin technique, they harness and reflect light with the highest known efficiency of any diamond cut, creating a sparkle of unimaginable brilliance. The necklace was inspired by a father to give as a wedding gift to his daughter, who is the namesake of the necklace. Brian Gavin hand-delivered this one-of-a-kind Black by Brain Gavin creation to the customer on his daughter’s wedding day.
“When my daughter wore the beautiful necklace, tears streamed down her face as she expressed her sincerest appreciation for the workmanship and the sparkle of every single diamond,” said Sirisha’s father.
If not personally hand-delivered by Gavin himself, all Black by Brain Gavin creations arrive in Brian Gavin Diamonds’ most unique packaging, which matches the diamonds’ rarity among diamond collections.
