2nd Annual Walk for Love Benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) September 28, 2016 -- Shriners Hospitals for Children—Philadelphia proudly announces the Walk for LOVE that will take place on Saturday, October 1 at LuLu Shriners, 5140 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. with registration, the walk at 10 a.m., followed by a fall festival. Festivities will conclude at noon. The community fundraiser will unite families, friends, patients, Shriners and local businesses that support the hospital’s mission to provide life-changing care to kids, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
Held rain or shine, the Walk for LOVE promises to deliver a fun, festival-like atmosphere that the entire family can enjoy. In addition to the 1-mile Walk, Roll or Stroll the family fun festival will feature music, games, pumpkin painting, delicious food and Fezzy’s Rescue Squad – a stuffed animal checkup clinic. All of the post-race family fun festival activities are included with registration.

T.Cares most recently provided 5-year-old Caiden and his family with a VIP meet and greet at the Philadelphia Phillies game. Caiden and his family are known as “Caiden’s Celtic Warriors” and will attend at the Walk.

It will be a fun-filled day with lots of activities for people of all ages to enjoy. Supporters who are unable to attend can sign up to be Virtual Walkers. Funds raised will help the hospital continue to transform the lives of children through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education.
