“Great new clients and opportunities like these come about as a result of the outstanding work we’re doing for existing clients,” said Greg Abel, president and founder of Abel Communications.

Abel Communications today announced that the firm has added four new clients for public relations, social media and strategic communications planning. They include The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, Serenity Acres, The Hearing and Speech Agency and Heritage Financial Consultants.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (UCF) has retained Abel as it looks to raise awareness of its services and programs to benefit young adults with cancer. Abel will lead media relations and content development and support marketing efforts. The firm will also promote the opening of The UCF House, a new home for young adult cancer patients undergoing treatment and their families.

Serenity Acres, a residential drug and alcohol treatment center based in Crownsville, Maryland, has tapped Abel to help increase awareness, community involvement and media exposure; while positioning Serenity Acres as an expert in drug and alcohol addiction and rehabilitation.

The Hearing and Speech Agency (HASA) has selected Abel to help raise awareness of its interpreting, education and therapeutic services dedicated to enabling effective communication for individuals and families. Abel will be providing media relations, strategic content and social media support.

Heritage Financial Consultants, a wealth management firm headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, hired Abel to raise awareness of its comprehensive financial planning services, promote its thought leaders in their respective areas and highlight the firm’s commitment to the local community.

“Great new clients and opportunities like these come about as a result of the outstanding work we’re doing for existing clients,” said Greg Abel, president and founder of Abel Communications. “We’ve made a commitment to recruiting top talent and delivering exceptional campaigns and look forward to these new, exciting engagements.”

This new business activity comes at an exciting time for the agency following a round of recent promotions, new hires, and awards.

Most recently, Senior Vice President Gina Zuk Gerber was named among The Baltimore Business Journal’s 40 Under 40; and Abel Communications was named a Best Place to work finalist, also by the BBJ.
