Leading OS developer for hosters CloudLinux and Cloud Hosting Platform Atomia, which combines hosting and billing software, announced the extension of their partnership. As a part of the new major release Atomia 16.9 includes support for CloudLinux OS, the #1 platform for multitenancy.
“We’re excited to have added built-in support for CloudLinux OS,” says Magnus Hult, CEO of Atomia. “Since we offer shared hosting software, this is a great match for us and many of our customers. We’ve known the excellent team at CloudLinux for a long time, and are very happy to be working with them.”
It is now possible to use CloudLinux as the server operating system for Atomia web servers and MySQL database servers, which gives shared hosting providers the more efficient use of their server resources. CloudLinux isolates the customers into Lightweight Virtualized Environments (LVE), helping both with stability and resource usage. CloudLinux OS also provides CageFS file system that encapsulates customers keeping them separate and improving security.
“Both our companies strive to create an environment for the efficient, successful hosting business,” said Igor Seletskiy, CloudLinux CEO. “We believe that our latest partnership can contribute to this and will give more opportunities for hosting providers by improving server performance and maximizing their profitability.”
CloudLinux is on a mission to make Linux secure, stable, and profitable.
