HNTB Corporation Names Kevin Hoeflich as Toll Services Chairman
Lake Mary, Fla. (PRWEB) September 28, 2016 -- HNTB Corporation expanded its national leadership team by naming Kevin Hoeflich, PE, as toll services chairman.
In his new role, Hoeflich, a senior vice president of the firm, will oversee growth and daily management of the toll practice, provide clients across the country with expert resources as they look to operate existing toll facilities, implement tolling in future projects, and represent HNTB to the toll industry. He is based in the firm’s Lake Mary, Florida, office.
“Kevin is a talented leader who is admired and respected throughout the industry. As toll services chair, he will continue to move HNTB down the path to growth and success on behalf of our clients,” said Doug Mann, HNTB’s president of corporate development. “Throughout its history, HNTB has exceeded client expectations in the delivery of tolled infrastructure. With client relationships spanning decades, we understand tolled infrastructure life cycles and have the perspective to solve technical challenges with clarity and imagination, resulting in many innovations in the toll market.”
Hoeflich is well known within the transportation market, bringing three decades of diverse industry experience. He previously led national toll practices for two firms and has significant program management experience, including serving as a former program director in the general engineering consultant program at Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.
He has been with HNTB since 2013, serving as vice chairman, toll services and toll market practice leader, primarily focusing on toll client service, strategic planning, recruiting and serving a range of toll clients. He provides counsel to HNTB’s toll clients nationwide.
Hoeflich moves into a role previously held by Jim Ely, who moves into a senior consulting role with the firm after four decades in the industry and three years leading HNTB’s toll practice.
Hoeflich received a Master of Business Administration from Dowling College and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers; Florida Engineering Society; International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association; and Transportation & Expressway Authority Membership of Florida where he serves as co-chair of the toll operations committee.
HNTB is the nation’s No. 1 consultant to toll authorities, currently serving as the general engineering consultant to more toll agencies than any other firm. With a national breadth of tolling expertise and recognized industry leaders, HNTB provides specialized services and an in-depth understanding of financial and engineering feasibility, toll plaza design, priced managed lanes, toll collection technology, operations and solid relationships within the investment banking community and bond markets.
