Marco's Technology Tradeshow Draws Industry Experts, Hundreds of Attendees
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) September 29, 2016 -- U.S. Bank Stadium and Marco played host to more than 600 attendees Sept. 14 during Marco’s Taking Technology to the Endzone Tradeshow.
Keynote speakers Lester Bagley, executive vice president of public affairs and stadium development and KFAN’s Paul Allen – “The Voice of the Vikings” – kicked the event off, which also included Vikings cheerleaders, Viktor the Mascot and Hall of Famer Paul Krause.
Technology experts from across the country, including Boston, Texas and California, shared their knowledge in presentation sessions on the field, in the visiting team’s locker room, a luxury suite and the media interview room. Presenters specialized in cyber threats, secure printing environments and cloud services, to name a few.
Throughout the Tradeshow, attendees visited with 116 vendors at 37 exhibitor booths on the field, such as Mitel, Konica Minolta and Barracuda. Marco employees and clients traveled from as far as Missouri, North Dakota and Wisconsin to take part in the event.
"It’s not often we have that many IT decision makers assemble in one place," said Marco CEO Jeff Gau. "I’m glad our clients had the opportunity to be right on the field and learn what we’re passionate about, too."
Four pairs of suite tickets to watch the Minnesota Vikings play the Dallas Cowboys, Dec. 1, were issued as the grand prize, sponsored by Sharp. Super Bowl tickets and airfare were packaged together as a surprise by Konica at the last minute of happy hour.
More than $25,000 was given away in prizes to attendees.
