RestorixHealth® Names Christopher Mitchell Chief Operating Officer

Mitchell has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Mitchell will have responsibility for all wound care and hyperbaric medicine facilities nationwide and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Steve McLaughlin.

Mitchell is a seasoned healthcare executive and operational leader with extensive experience in market share expansion, de novo operations, mergers and acquisitions and has a significant body of work in transitional care continuum development. Prior to his appointment, he led the development and integration of transitional care programs that delivered comprehensive models of care, while fully integrating health care services in the post-acute service settings, including skilled nursing, hospitals, palliative care, rehab, hospice and home health and private duty services. Former roles include area vice president at Gentiva Health Services, chief operating officer of Life Care Centers of America and vice president of hospice operations at Kindred Healthcare.

Mitchell retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, a military parachutist and Army Ranger. His service included two conflicts, with multiple deployments and extensive operational experience overseas and in the U.S.
