The RICP designation is awarded by the Certification Committee of the Board of Trustees at The American College of Financial Services, a regionally accredited institution of higher education. The rigorous three-course credential helps advisors master retirement income planning, a key focus area not fully covered in other professional designation programs. In addition, RIPC designees must complete at least three years of full-time work experience in a related field and must take a pledge of ethics.
