Rotarex Appoints New General Manager for North America
(PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- http://www.rotarex.com – Rotarex SA, the gas control industry’s innovation leader, today announced the appointment of Robert Griffin as the General Manager of Rotarex North America. Mr. Griffin replaces Ms. Schmitz who will focus on her responsibilities as President of the newly-created Rotarex Solutions Division, as well as serving on the Corporate Board of Directors.
Mr. Griffin joins Rotarex from Isolatek International, a global leader in fire-proof insulation, where he was the Director of Operations. At Isolatek, he was responsible for all of the company’s manufacturing and distribution facilities globally. His success in team building, project management, and business strategy brings outstanding leadership to Rotarex. Prior to joining Isolatek, Mr. Griffin spent 13 years with Linde (formerly BOC Gases), in roles of increasing responsibility in plant management, sales, engineering, and product management.
Mr. Philippe Schmitz, the Deputy CEO for Rotarex Group commented on Mr. Griffin’s appointment: “Rob brings strong strategic and operational experience in the gas sector, which will be important to leading the expansion of our business in North America and Mexico. Mr. Griffin is a 1996 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served 6 years in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer. He holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the Academy, as well as an MBA and MS in Finance from Indiana University.
