MyNewMama.com CEO Receives Top 40 under 40 Nomination
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- Nicholas Cole, CEO of MyNewMama.com, has been nominated to receive the Houston Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 Award.
“I am humbled to receive this prestigious nomination,” said Cole, the 38 year-old founder of MyNewMama.com, whose mission is simple: to make the daily lives of women easier. “The Houston Metro Area business community is rich with many deserving entrepreneurs. I consider it an honor to be a nominee within this elite group of individuals.”
The judges this year were chief executive officers and vice presidents from the Houston business community and previous 40 Under 40 honorees. More than 500 individuals were reviewed for the award selection. Candidates were evaluated based on professional accomplishments, philanthropic efforts and other exemplary qualities. All 40 honorees will be recognized at an event and publication in October 2016.
Heading the first and only company in America with a business concept geared specifically to meeting both the business and personal needs of women, Cole considers himself to be a visionary, a trait in which he believes played a major role in becoming a Top 40 under 40 nominee.
“Women are leading at work and at home, and the fact that for the first time in our nation’s history, we have a woman, Hillary Clinton, as an official nominee for president shows that the vision I have is a reality,” Cole said. “Unfortunately companies continue to ignore this growing trend, but my company has sustained by supporting women in both their personal and professional lives. MyNewMama.com brings together the business and personal worlds and is addressing issues for women who have too many demands on their time and constantly juggle conflicting priorities—work, home, and family.”
With 70 percent of all new businesses being started by women, a rapidly growing number of women taking on management roles in corporate America, and the fact that women are expected to outnumber men in the workforce by 2028, Cole noted that, women are constantly having to juggle having a successful career and being a mom. Time is a serious issue, he stressed.
“MyNewMama.com is solving this problem,” Cole said, before adding, “As the husband of a career-oriented woman, and father of two daughters, I support women leaders and my company was developed so that no area of their lives go impacted because of their career choice. It feels great to know that the work I am doing and the vision I see is worthy of the Top 40 Under 40 nomination.”
