UCaaS Provider Selected for Redefining Unified Communications with WebRTC

OnSIP announced today that the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) provider has been selected as one of CIOReview’s 20 Most Promising Unified Communications Solution Providers 2016.

In a recent interview with CIOReview, OnSIP Cofounder and CEO Mike Oeth explains their unique Over the Top (OTT) approach to UCaaS, supported by the company’s custom-built, geographically distributed platform (patent) and use of the open source project WebRTC.

Two WebRTC-based applications that exemplify this mission and are also noted in Oeth’s interview with CIOReview are the OnSIP app and InstaCall:

  • OnSIP App - OnSIP’s end-user interface that provides: voice and video calling, business-grade call control, messaging with Slack integration, call queue monitoring, presence, voicemail management, drag-and-drop transfer, and more.
  • InstaCall - A solution that allows customers to place web call buttons on their websites for high-definition, encrypted voice and video calling directly from the browser. InstaCall can be directed to any OnSIP application or phone and enables customers to play video-on-hold content to callers.

OnSIP has also recently announced a Free Plan for businesses and developers— the first of its kind.
