Entourage Announces New President of the Advisors' Council
Princeton, New Jersey (PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- Entourage Yearbooks is excited to announce that Nicole Ford, of Ridge Community High School in Davenport, FL, has taken over as the new President of the Yearbook Advisors' Council for the 2016-2017 school year. Ms. Ford’s six years of experience as a yearbook advisor will be an asset and a resource for other yearbook advisors who would like suggestions for ways to organize more successful yearbook programs. The group will be particularly helpful for new advisors. However, more experienced advisors can find participation beneficial as well.
This year, Ms. Ford will work with a yearbook staff that has limited experience but she knows that there are supportive people that she can turn to for new ideas. She is planning to incorporate strategies that she learned at Entourage’s annual Yearbook Advisors’ Conference which the Council helps to organize. She describes the Advisor’s Conference as “a way of lighting a fresh fire of excitement…” and says that the creativity shared by conference attendees has generated “the energy that I need to kick off a new year with fresh, up-to-date concepts that I can bring back to my staff.” Ideas that she found helpful include “innovative ways to incorporate technology, trending topics, unusual coverage and so much more.”
In addition to the other members of the Advisors’ Council, Ms. Ford also knows that she can rely on Entourage as a resource and she stressed that first time yearbook advisors should not expect the standard customer service which is provided by other companies in the industry. She added that Entourage provides a collaborative experience and that the company works closely with schools to help them to finish their book. Ms. Ford appreciated the opportunity to meet the staff of Entourage Yearbooks at the conferences and says that she plans to reach out to a “friend” at the company if she finds herself in need of creative solutions or other help. Larry Johnson, senior account manager, says that Ms. Ford has “shown great leadership in getting students involved” and that she will be able to utilize these leadership skills while serving as President of the Advisors’ Council. He added that her yearbook has improved over the last few years and that he “can’t wait to see what she does this year.”
