SAE 2016 Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Technologies Symposium Focuses on the Future of AR/VR
(PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- SAE 2016 Augmented and Virtual Reality Technologies Symposium will host a series of technical and business sessions.
Taking place November 14-16 in Philadelphia, the symposium will feature two panel discussions with augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) industry leaders.
The first panel discussion will occur on Tuesday, November 15 and will provide an outlook at the future of AR/VR. The panel currently consists of Joseph Barkai and Raven Zachary of Object Theory. They will answer the question “what does the future in the augmented-reality age look like?” The panelists will take a deeper dive into the practical applications of AR that will, indeed, change the way humans interact with their peers and the environment in a meaningful and productive way.
The second panel discussion, Knowledge Transfer Using AR, closes out the event on Wednesday, November 16. Moderated by Lorrie J. Sivich of Boeing Research & Technology, the panel will provide presentations of experiences on knowledge transfer using ARVR. Sivich will moderate the panel consisting of Paul Robert Davies of Boeing Co., Juergen Lumera of Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC, and Zsolt Szalavari of PTC.
By attending this event, participants will reap the following benefits:
• Technical Expertise - Leave the event with practical knowledge of the latest tools and proven solutions
• Industry Insight - Keep up on the latest industry trends, and gain an expanded perspective from key thought leaders; challenges, initiatives, and opportunities facing our industry now and in the future
• Networking - Interact with your colleagues in exceptional networking opportunities designed to foster professional collaboration
One special feature that is available to the symposium attendees is the Boeing Philadelphia Modeling, Simulation & Analysis Center (MSAC) Tour. On Monday, November 14 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm for $50, attendees can tour Boeing’s AR/VR labs. The tour will begin with a brief overview of Boeing Philadelphia AR/VR capabilities. Visitors will tour each of our labs where they will be exposed to a variety of VR/AR technologies and applications. Topics will cover engineering applications as well as interactive customer engagement. The tour is limited to no more than 40 participants and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Secure your spot today. Registration is open, be sure to secure your attendance at this unique event to increase your competitive advantage.
