Following the completion of this renovation, the Holiday Inn Express® Louisville Airport Expo Center hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, has announced the completion of its rebranding process and is now fully operational. Originally built in 1968, the hotel was the Best Western Louisville Airport Expo Center prior to a change in ownership in 2015.
Over the past year, the four-story, 150-room property has undergone an extensive $5 million renovation in conjunction with the franchise change. The hotel structure was gutted and everything replaced including flooring, furniture, fixtures and finishes in all public areas and guest rooms. All electrical and plumbing throughout the hotel was also updated.
The Holiday Inn Express® Louisville Expo Center property features the brand’s newest design solution, which was created to meet the evolving needs of the brand’s target guest. The design features an appealing combination of fresh, energetic, and engaging elements, creating a distinctive style that is evident at every touch point of the Holiday Inn Express® brand experience.

In addition, all guest rooms come equipped with refrigerator, microwave, 40- inch flat screen TV, premium cable and sport channels, pillow top mattresses and choice of soft or firm pillow, desk with ergonomic chair, additional outlets and USBs, Keurig® coffee brewer and safe.
Every room also has free WiFi utilizing IHG’s latest technology, which boasts over 50 access points to ensure reliable, 24/7 connectivity. Additionally, all guests are welcome to start their day with the complimentary Express Start™ breakfast bar served every morning.
