The events take place in Silicon Valley on October 5, from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. in Greenberg Traurig’s Silicon Valley office in East Palo Alto, and in San Francisco on October 6, from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. at Four Embarcadero, Third Floor Conference Center. Gilbert will discuss such things as how data collection, management and sharing practices may affect a company’s valuation and hamper or delay corporate transactions; how to identify cybersecurity and privacy issues in preparation for a corporate transaction; how to incorporate cybersecurity and privacy matters in corporate documents; how to get your company ready in anticipation of a corporate transaction or a public offering; and how to finance your information privacy and security program.
Gilbert, a shareholder in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, focuses her practice and research on U.S. and global data privacy and security in a wide variety of markets, including, among others, internet, cloud computing, big data, connected devices, sensors, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.
