In addition to the book signing event, the author will also display a collection of walnut tables he has built over the past year. Copies of his books and handcrafted tables will be available for purchase.

In his second collection of masterfully told stories, John P. Faris, Jr. takes us along the creeks and rivers of his native Laurens County, South Carolina to shoot mallards and wood ducks; and he invites us to angle for red drum and tarpon in the tidal tributaries of the Georgia coast. John is a natural born storyteller. “The tales I’ve written are about more than turkeys, rabbits, deer, ducks, and fish,” Faris said. “They are stories about the joys and sorrows of life.” The book also includes a foreword by renowned artist and author, Bob Timberlake.
