Companies can now process a 3D body model with proven anatomical precision.

Body Labs, provider of the world’s most advanced technology for analyzing the human body’s shape, pose and motion, announced today a partnership with 3dMD, the world’s leading provider of high-precision static-3D and temporal-3D (marker-less 4D) systems for seamlessly capturing the human body’s anatomical shape, pose, and motion, to provide the first body scan to 3D model processing solution.

The solution starts with the 3dMD system as the high-fidelity body digitization portal for the consumer. Body Labs then transitions the consumer’s 3dMD scan into Body Labs’ 3D models that can be reposed, measured, animated and integrated into third-party software.

The partnership of Body Labs and 3dMD enables two industry leaders to empower businesses to now easily capture a subject’s body shape, color information and process a 3D body model with proven anatomical precision.

Using 3dMD’s 3D and 4D scanning systems Body Labs can automatically process accurate 3dMD scans into accurate 3D digital avatars using Body Labs’ AI engine. This equips users to now go from scan to application instantly.
