New York, NY (PRWEB) October 06, 2016 -- WIN Summit, the New York-based conference dedicated to women and the art of negotiation, has announced that the Ashcroft Law Firm (ashcroftlawfirm.com) and its whistleblower practice, Ashcroft Whistleblower Law (http://www.ashcroftwhistleblowerlaw.com), will be a sponsor of its 2017 event. The highly respected law firm will help present the event’s curriculum and provide additional support.
“Throughout my career in law and government, I’ve learned the importance of being a skilled negotiator,” says John Ashcroft, Chairman, Ashcroft Law Firm and former U.S. Senator and Attorney General. “We’re thrilled to participate in the upcoming WIN Summit as we’ve always been a major proponent of professional development opportunities tailored to women.”
WIN Summit 2017 is scheduled for March 7 - 8, to coincide with International Women’s Day. Event organizers will host the country’s top professional women to learn, engage and grow through the negotiating skills and experiences of educators, executives, business leaders and glass ceiling breakers. Speakers will include world-renowned instructors from leading universities, including Harvard, Wharton, Columbia, and Chicago Booth as well as respected voices from the business, legal and public sectors.
“The 2017 WIN Summit is designed to be a workshop experience, geared towards providing already accomplished attendees with the most advanced negotiating and influencing tools and strategies,” says Jack Simony, Chairman of Experiential Learning Events which operates the event in conjunction with The Negotiation Institute. “Speakers and panelists will also discuss important issues on the gender gap, work/life balance, and offer compelling advice about succeeding in a male dominated workforce. We’re thrilled that Lori Sharpe Day, Managing Partner, Ashcroft Law Firm, will be a key presenter.”
The program will run on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both days will include instruction, panel discussion and breakout sessions. As it has done in the past, the event will coordinate with appropriate agencies to provide CLE credits for attorneys and HR credits for qualifying Human Resources professionals, with both disciplines expected to provide in excess of 10 credit hours.
