Imagination Playground Announces Another “Vote for Play” Giveaway
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 10, 2016 -- Imagination Playground, LLC, http://www.imaginationplayground.com, creators of the breakthrough play space concept that encourages child-directed, unstructured free play, announced today another opportunity for schools and family centers to “Vote for Play”—and be awarded their very own Imagination Playground and Play Associate Training (valued at $7,500).
Beginning Monday, October 10 at 12:00 pm EST, organizations can rally their community to vote to be awarded a 105 piece set of Imagination Playground Big Blue Blocks. Voting individuals can place their ballot once per day, every day, through the campaign period, which ends on Wednesday, November 30 at 11:00 p.m. EST. The awardee (school or family center with the most votes) will be announced shortly thereafter.
The VOTE for Play program is open to schools, daycare centers, children’s museums, nature, science, and discovery centers, community centers, parks and other children’s organizations. Since its inception, 12 schools and family centers have earned an Imagination Playground through the VOTE program, and over 30,000 schools and organizations have entered the contest. The most recent awardee was Kokomo-Howard County Public Library—the first library ever to receive the award. Previous 2016 awardees include Finn Academy of Elmira, NY and River Oaks Elementary School of Gulfport, MS.
Among the winning tactics employed by past awardees include “getting the word out” via social media, emails, and newsletters. Many past winning schools have credited their winning to support from parent groups (PTA’s and PTO’s) and their school’s district.
Dave Krishock, Imagination Playground President and CEO shared, “After receiving over 7,000 touching responses in our last Vote for Play session, we realized we had to create another opportunity for a school or family center to bring creative block play to their children. We’re so glad we can help. Best of luck to everyone!”
