Banc of California presents, The 6th Annual HARVEST Celebration, an evening of toasting, dining, comedy and song, on Tuesday, October 25, 6:30-8:30pm to benefit RaiseAChild charity organization. "Our RaiseAChild HARVEST Celebration has gained a reputation for being an intimate, fun, and moving event. This year, we will inspire our our guests when we share a sneak peak of our new fall campaign for November's National Adoption Month," says Rich Valenza, Founder & CEO of RaiseAChild.
RaiseAChild partners with agencies to expedite the process of finding loving homes for foster and adoptive children. With a success rate four times the national average, RaiseAChild has recruited and engaged over 2500 Hispanic, LGBT, and single parents to provide loving homes for foster and adoptive children to date.
For entertainment, Kira Soltanovich gets the laughs rolling with her own special form of standup. Soltanovich has appeared on The Jay Leno Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, Last Comic Standing, and The World Stands Up on Comedy Central.
American singer-songwriter, Inara Maryland George sets the tone with a song performance. The daughter of Lowell George, the late founder of the rock and roll group Little Feat, Inara George is one half of "The Bird and the Bee," a member of the band "Merrick" with Bryony Atkinson, and a member of "The Living Sisters " with Eleni Mandell and Becky Stark.
Alec Mapa, creator of the Showtime Comedy Special, Alec Mapa: Baby Daddy, rounds out the evening with his hysterical irreverence. Mapa has appeared in over 40 TV shows, including Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty. Ellen DeGeneres calls Mapa "smart, hilarious and funny."
