Lee’s Summit, Missouri (PRWEB) October 12, 2016 -- Independent telecommunications provider, INDATEL Services, LLC (INDATEL), is happy to announce Mel Wagner, Jr. as the new Chief Executive Officer. Wagner has served as INDATEL’s Vice President of Business Development and Sales since 2014 and replaces retiring Max Huffman. The search began in June 2016, following Huffman’s announcement of plans to retire at the end of the year.
A veteran in the industry, Wagner brings more than 25 years of experience in telecom and an entrepreneurial focus that has been instrumental in driving INDATEL’s market position and achieving financial growth.
“INDATEL is the industry leader connecting rural and urban communities using Ethernet-based services in North America,” said Corey Jensen, INDATEL Board of Directors President. “Mel Wagner’s integrity, experience and work ethic make him a perfect fit to lead INDATEL as we continue to expand our network and service offerings.”
INDATELgroup, a derivative of Independent Alliances Telecom Group, was first established as a trade association to create awareness of and promote independent telecom companies and their offerings throughout rural America. In 2010, the organization started a services division. Members voted to dissolve the trade association and merge those functions into the INDATEL Services, LLC in December 2013. Since then, INDATEL has experienced growth in memberships, service offerings and customers.
“The incredible cornerstones set by Max Huffman have established and built a solid foundation for INDATEL,” said Wagner. “This is an exciting time for the company as we continue to focus on the increasing demand for telecommunication services throughout the country. I’m honored to be entrusted to lead, grow and chart the course for INDATEL into the future.”
Stop by and get to know Mel Wagner at the 2016 INCOMPAS Show, October 23-25 in Dallas, Texas, Booth #215.
