JoAnne Warren has completed her new book “Vanishing Angle”: a non-stop blood-tingling tale of mysterious deaths taking place aboard an ocean-going vessel.

JoAnne is a first-time novelist with over twenty years of experience in the global cruise industry. A passionate cruise aficionado, she became hooked on cruising during the first twenty-four hours of her very first cruise and remains so today. Another of her passions is creative writing, which she uses as an outlet for some of her more colorful dreams. In fact, "Vanishing Angle" was the result of a dream that didn’t fade in the light of day, and once the initial thought was put to paper, took on a life of its own. In writing the story, her goal was to give readers an insight into the life of those who work on board cruise ships as well as weave an interesting tale that would keep the reader involved and guessing what the final outcome would be. Many of the situations in the book are ones that have actually occurred in real ship life. Her writing credits include published shore excursion descriptions and other tour marketing pieces for cruise lines whose land programs have won awards. JoAnne currently lives in South Florida and when not at her job with a major cruise company, is busy completing the sequel to "Vanishing Angle" and working on a few other writing projects.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, JoAnne Warren’s fully-rounded and suspenseful novel has love, deceit, revenge, and betrayal at the turn of a dime.

Ali Summer has successfully managed to escape her former life as a singer in a popular band for the anonymity of a life at sea, or so she thought. Plagued for years by an unidentified stalker, her job now as an officer on a cruise ship had so far proved to be inconspicuous enough to hide her identity and keep her out of harm’s way. Assigned to a new ship, she looks forward to working with some of her closest friends again and Captain Carlos Passaro- somewhat of an icon himself within the company. Despite her hard and fast rule of not getting involved with anyone on the ships, she soon finds herself falling for the handsome, yet modest Italian captain. Her blossoming relationship with Carlos finds Ali happier than she has been in years. Unfortunately, that happiness is short-lived when she starts receiving cryptic messages that seem to indicate her stalker has found her again. A myriad of tragedies and challenges happening on board the ship test her new relationship with Carlos, and the appearance of Ali’s twin sister Elle only serves to complicate things. There for her destination wedding, Elle has brought along their parents, whom Ali has been estranged from for years. Thrown together again, secrets from the past and long-held resentments begin unveiling themselves, secrets that could hold the key to who Ali’s stalker is and the accidents happening on the ship. As the crew band together to protect Ali and do their own investigating, several potential suspects emerge, including some within their innermost circle. Things draw to a close with a dramatic confrontation on deck and what
seems to be an uncertain future for Ali and Carlos.

Readers who wish to experience this thrilling work can purchase “Vanishing Angle” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
