Envoy America Partners With Lyft To Give Seniors More Options To Stay Independent And Age-At-Home
Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) October 12, 2016 -- Envoy America, a comprehensive senior ride program that offers door-to-door accompanied transportation services for seniors, announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Lyft, the fastest-growing on-demand transportation service in the U.S., and has added Lyft’s Concierge Service to Envoy America’s suite of accompanied transportation service offerings. With Lyft Concierge, both individual clients and business entities using Envoy America’s platform for pre-scheduled door-to-door accompanied transportation services will now have the additional option of requesting traditional curb-to-curb rideshare services too.
Lyft’s services will provide door-to-door accompanied transportation services through the Envoy America platform. For example, the Envoy America driver companions — not Lyft drivers — will accompany a senior to a doctor’s appointment, stay with them, accompany them to a pharmacy or lab to do additional work, and perhaps take them to a grocery store and assist by taking items from the upper and lower shelves and placing them in the basket.
