Theres no excuse for why there isn't a web-embed image editor thats seamlessly connected with the rest of the internet
New York, New York (PRWEB) October 12, 2016
CtPaint is an image editor (like photoshop) that runs inside your web browser, and can edit and save any image on the internet. Chadtech, the company responsible for CtPaint, has launched a kickstarter to bring CtPaint out of its alpha version, and into its next iteration as a social media application that greatly innovates the context in which people work on digital images and collaborate on digital art projects.
Chadtech is a small software development company based out of New York City. In 2014, riding on the latest web rendering developments from the Google Chromium team, Chadtech released the first version of CtPaint, which demonstrated that good image editing software can run in the context of the browser. In a modern world where more than ever, people make and share images on social media, Chadtech aims to introduce image editing software best suited for our modern internet lives.
"Paint software is really useful for everyone, even people who aren't artists. Somehow good paint software is absent from today's computers, and it didn't use to be this way. Theres no excuse for why there isn't a web-embed image editor thats seamlessly connected with the rest of the internet" says Chad Stearns, the founder of Chadtech, who has been drawing pixel art since his youth. "CtPaint can provide what professional pixel artists need from their digital art software, and that largely overlaps with what every person needs to draw simple images in their personal and professional lives."
The CtPaint kickstarter, which launches October 11, is seeking to raise enough money to build the infrastructure for an online community of people drawing and sharing images. In the center of that community, will be an image editor as good as any desktop software available today.
