San Diego-based IT Consulting firm Networld Solutions' Vice President and Sr. Education Technology Consultant, Darryl Vidal, has developed and released for public use, the Education Technology Strategic Assessment (ETSA).
The ETSA score will provide a "Readiness Score" designating a school's readiness to support 21st Century student needs. The ETSA measures a school's Education Technology readiness in four areas: Education Technology Initiatives, Project Management, Education Technology Standards and Information Technology Organization.
By answering a series of 20 questions, the ETSA tool will return a score that will help a school identify strengths and weaknesses in these areas.
Once identified, the school can initiate a planning model to help develop strategic initiatives that will help them in their future planning and implementation of Education Technology Initiatives.
