Celebrate the Holidays in Grand Style at The Houstonian
Houston, TX (PRWEB) October 17, 2016 -- The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is Houston’s favorite holiday tradition with its dazzling décor, lobby entertainment, a majestic lighted oak tree and bountiful brunches. It all begins on November 25, when holiday elves create a magical backdrop for families and guest to enjoy throughout the season.
Gingerbread Wonderland Lobby
On November 25 in the Great Room Lobby of the Houstonian Hotel, Pastry Chef Catherine Rodriguez and her team of elves decorate and display gingerbread houses that stand over 6 feet tall and take more than 6 months to complete. Over 600 gumdrops, 95 pounds of gingerbread along with 200 pounds of royal icing and more are used to create these fanciful structures. This Gingerbread Village, a real choo choo train, hidden Elf on the Shelf and dozens of trees with glittering ornaments bring guests from near and far to celebrate at The Houstonian.
Grand Holiday Tree Lighting
On November 27, the spirit of the season comes alive when the property’s huge, majestic live oak tree is lit with more than 100,000 lights for the season. The evening’s event with real snow, food and entertainment is open to hotel guests and Houstonian Club members only.
