Having been a farmer's wife for 3 decades, Jackie Thelen has helped with many facets of growing food from milking cows, raising chickens, feeding calves, baling hay, hours and hours of tractor riding, accepting the role of "go for" errand person, and learning the “ins and outs” of farming from discussions at the family meal table. She and her husband put their hands to a lot of learning experiences with their children, which in turn increased their abilities to provide good things for their family. Jackie has always loved children’s books, and delights in sharing them with her children and grandchildren. She proudly dedicates this special book to her grandchildren, James and Charlotte, and her three adopted grandchildren: Eliyah, Zechariah, and Hezekiah.
