Haag-Streit UK, the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Kirk in the role of Service Manager, to join the 45-strong team. Philip replaces Eric Spencer, who has retired after 12 years of loyal service with the company.
Philip will be responsible for managing service contracts, the provision of equipment repairs and the service and installation of all HS-UK products.
Bringing with him a wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise, Philip has worked with ophthalmic products for most of his career. Having worked in both the NHS and private sector, Philip has held roles as both a Service Engineer and Manager for over 20 years. Philip also worked for Bausch & Lomb (later Bausch & Lomb Technolas) for a number of years, during which he held the role of Manager of the UK and Ireland Service Department.
