Ambassador and AIM Invited to Present on Innovations in Digital Content at CSPEN Annual Conference
Melville, NY and Chicago (PRWEB) October 19, 2016 -- As students continue to become more digital-savvy and mobile-insistent, some colleges and universities are rethinking their approach to course materials. Leaders from Ambassador Education Solutions and the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) will explore these digital content trends at the upcoming CSPEN Annual Conference, including how AIM made the leap to a notepad loaded with eBooks to meet the changing needs of its students.
"eBook Solutions for Trades and Industry Education" will review AIM's considerations in moving toward an integrated online solution, powered by Ambassador. Dr. Joel English, Vice President of Operations for AIM, will discuss the elements of the transition; the impact of digital materials on students, faculty and staff; and early results. Joining Dr. English is Stuart Grinell, Vice President of Business Development at Ambassador, who worked closely with AIM to architect a tailored eBook strategy.
"AIM is a forward-thinking institution and was motivated to create a content integration program that streamlined the use of numerous hard copy textbooks, creating efficiencies and a more modern education experience," said Grinell. "Together we worked closely with AIM to develop and deliver an innovative, mobile eBooks solution that provides student access to their course materials in a flexible, digital format. We look forward to sharing our insight with other schools as they think about opportunities where eBooks make sense."
CSPEN gets underway October 26th at the Renaissance Chicago O'Hare. Dr. English and Grinell will take the stage on Thursday, October 27th at 2:30pm. Ambassador is also exhibiting at the event, collaborating with educators on the entire print and digital course materials process, simplifying the management and delivery of all academic and supporting resources.
