Our carefully crafted, award-winning itineraries access people and places that aren’t possible when guests travel on their own or with other tour operators.

Insight Vacations®, the leader in premium escorted journeys, is launching its Europe 2017 program with three exciting new itineraries and new Signature Experiences that bring guests closer to the showstoppers and lesser-discovered corners of Europe. The touring company has also added two of its premium journeys – "Scenic France and Northern Spain" and "Elegance of Great Britain" – to its Insight Inclusive collection, a touring style that includes all breakfasts, dinners and sightseeing so guests can enjoy peace of mind and upfront pricing at the time of booking.

“There has honestly never been a better time to come to Europe,” said Phil Cappelli, president of Insight Vacations USA. “We’ve made our program more accessible than ever before, with many 2017 prices lower than or equal to their 2016 equivalents. We’ve also sourced some fantastic air deals with quality carriers and continue to extend a variety of savings such as Early Payment Discounts, solo traveler discounts and our Club Bon Voyage savings for returning guests. Best of all, we fully support our guests every step of the way, providing a truly relaxing and hassle-free experience from the moment they step off the flight.”

Each premium itinerary has been carefully crafted to showcase the best of each destination, with a host of local encounters and enriching, authentic activities that give a true insight into the culture and traditions of each place it visits. The hallmarks of each trip are the Signature Hotels and Experiences, fine dining, business class transportation and the services of an expert Tour Director, reflecting the company’s motto of “The Art of Touring in Style.”

The new program features a variety of engaging encounters with artisans, chefs, storytellers and other local experts. For the first time, guests on a number of Premium Italian itineraries will enjoy a private after-hours VIP dinner inside the Vatican Ethnological Museum, joined by the museum’s curator. Other new Signature Experiences include an exclusive visit to the Guinness factory in Dublin before the doors open to the public, a cruise with the captain on a traditional sailing barge, and meeting one of the survivors of the Siege of Sarajevo in the War Tunnel Museum.

“I’m so proud of our 2017 program – it really is opening the door on the magic of Europe,” said John Boulding, global CEO of Insight Vacations. “Our carefully crafted, award-winning itineraries access people and places that aren’t possible when guests travel on their own or with other tour operators. We also offer different touring styles to suit each guest; those looking for more relaxed starts and longer stays will enjoy Easy Pace tours, while Discovery Journeys take in multiple destinations and are perfect for first time visitors to Europe.”

Insight's new 2017 collection includes:

  • The 13-day "Country Roads of Southern Scandinavia," an off-the-beaten-track discovery journey of Scandinavia’s southern mountains, fjords, rivers and vibrant cities. Starting in Oslo and finishing in Copenhagen, highlights include a visit to the market stalls of Bergen with a local expert, an island-hopping cruise through Norway’s dramatic West Coast fjords from Bergen to Stavanger, and two nights in vibrant Aarhus, European Capital of Culture for 2017.
  • The 14-day "Scenic France and Northern Spain" includes wine tasting at Saint-Émilion with an expert vintner, learning about the double-distilling and aging process of Cognac, and accommodations in the 16th century Château de Monestier in Bordeaux, set amongst the beautiful vineyards of the region. This itinerary is now Insight Inclusive for 2017.
  • The nine-day "Warsaw and the Baltic States," exploring Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Launched on the back of the continued popularity of Poland, this trip includes a tour of Warsaw with a local expert, who will reveal how well the city has been restored post-WWII, and a visit to the wonderful red-brick Gothic castle at Trakai, accessed via a wooden footbridge across an idyllic lake. It also combines with "Easy Pace Russia" to form a 16-day "Russia, Warsaw and the Baltic States" itinerary.
