Nymeo To Host Lost Wallet Scavenger Hunt in Frederick on Oct. 19th

“As a credit union, we celebrate the concept of people helping people and the importance of strengthening communities,” Nymeo CEO and President Victoria M. Johnston

In celebration of International Credit Union Day (ICU Day), Thursday, October 20th, Nymeo Federal Credit Union is promoting the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” through random acts of kindness for one week. This is the third year that Nymeo has conducted random acts throughout Frederick.

“As a credit union, we celebrate the concept of people helping people and the importance of strengthening communities,” said Nymeo’s CEO and President Victoria M. Johnston. “To celebrate ICU Day, we plan on performing random acts of kindness for an entire week – educating the community about credit unions in a fun, informal way.”

Beginning on October 17th, Nymeo will randomly treat people such as filling gas tanks at area Frederick stations, planning special drop-in lunches to organizations, and hosting a fun scavenger hunt in Frederick for Lost Wallets.

“On Wednesday, October 19th, we will be hosting a scavenger hunt–hiding three wallets throughout Frederick and giving clues on their locations on our social media sites. If you find a wallet, you will be rewarded!” said Nymeo’s Vice President of Marketing and Human Resources Kristina Morgan. “The notion behind this game is to celebrate the kindness of good Samaritans–those who have found and returned lost things.
