Attendance Open for 2016 HARF Scholarship Awards Reception
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 14, 2016 -- As the 2016 Fall Application Cycle for the Hotel and Restaurant Foundation (HARF)’s Hospitality Scholarship comes to a close, the HARF team is ramping up preparations for the HARF Scholarship Awards Reception. On Thursday, November 3, 2016, from 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m., leaders from California’s hospitality industry will come together at the Marker Hotel in San Francisco to honor the newest awardees of the HARF Hospitality Scholarship and network with other industry players, past awardees, and present scholarship holders.
The reception will include speakers and cocktails, and there will even be an exclusive career fair for the winners with HARF corporate sponsors. Top students from some of the best hospitality programs in the state will meet with employers looking to connect with the most promising future leaders of the hospitality industry. This celebration will even provide networking opportunities for professional attendees looking to connect with other successful members of the industry.
The main goal of the November HARF Scholarship Awards Reception is to connect new awardees with the HARF community and current leaders in the hospitality industry. “This reception will be an amazing opportunity for employers to connect with this year’s awardees of the Hotel and Restaurant Foundation’s Hospitality Scholarship. The HARF Scholarship Awards Reception is a fun place to join together with other individuals invested in the future of our industry. We provide meaningful opportunities to meet the future leaders of California’s hospitality industry firsthand and lay the groundwork for recruitment of the best and brightest. Our November event promises to be one of our best yet,” says Michael Pace, HARF's Board President and Area General Manager, West Coast, Morgans Hotel Group.
