More than 60 Colleges Highlighted for Quality Professional Training in Personal Services

The Community for Accredited Online Schools (, a leading resource provider for higher education information, has ranked the Best Beauty and Cosmetology Programs in the U.S. Both two and four year schools were ranked, with Pensacola State College, Idaho State University, Florida Gateway College, Palm Beach State College and Daytona State College coming in as the top five four-year beauty and cosmetology schools and Northland Pioneer College, McDowell Technical Community College, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Randolph Community College and Beaufort County Community College as the top five two-year beauty and cosmetology schools.

“The U.S. Department of Labor projects faster-than-average job growth for the beauty industry over the next eight years,” said Doug Jones, CEO and Founder of the Community for Accredited Online Schools. “The cosmetology and beauty program options available at these two and four year schools are not only in-demand, they’re offering high quality education and placement services that help set students up for success after graduation.”

Schools on the Best Beauty and Cosmetology Program list must meet specific base requirements to be included: colleges must hold regional accreditation and be either a two-year or four-year, public or private not-for-profit institution. Each college must also offer students career placement services after degree completion. Both online and on-campus professional training programs were considered, and each list ranks the top schools based on over a dozen unique data points.
