“Being part of the reinvestment on the river front was a major factor in our decision,” says Ray Micham, Architect and Principal with The Collaborative.

The Collaborative, answering needs of flexible office space and room for growth, announces the relocation of their headquarters to the Park Level of One Seagate in downtown Toledo. The new 9,700 square foot design studio will feature a myriad of collaborative environments and idea sharing spaces. Interdisciplinary collaboration and team-based project delivery strategies are design drivers for the new environment.
“Being part of the reinvestment on the river front was a major factor in our decision,” says Ray Micham, Architect and Principal with The Collaborative. The Collaborative has called downtown Toledo home since 1986 having been part of the team that saved The Gardner Building from demolition. Micham continues, “As downtown Toledo grows, we are excited to remain involved in its transition.”
The new corporate headquarters emphasizes The Collaborative culture by converging all project team members into a studio environment for enhanced collaboration in a setting that is as park like as it is urban. “The Park Level at one Seagate, with its public art and reflecting pool, is one of the most engaging public spaces in Downtown,” says Michael Muse, Architect and Principal with The Collaborative. “We’re thrilled to be developing a new studio that offers improved creative space, abundant day lighting, access to urban + green space, and an environment that supports the science of building as much as the art.”
