Our hope is that as you read this incredible story you see God’s fingerprints, and that our experience helps you get to know him better and love him more.

Adrian Nygard, a Norwegian boy, was seriously ill for 12 years. Marian Nygard, his mother, authors her personal journey through her son’s many medical complications from the age of 6 months. Among the complications were an inability to digest food, immunodeficiency, and a severe weakening of his muscles that required his use of a wheelchair from the age of 4.
The story takes an unexpected turn when Adrian is suddenly healed after being prayed for at Bethel Church in Redding, California. From that point forward, he is operating as an average boy of his age should, jumping on trampolines and learning to ride a bike.
Bill Johnson, Senior Leader at Bethel Church, has named it “one of the top three greatest miracles he has ever witnessed,” and also calls it “the best example of how to handle a miracle when those around you haven’t gotten theirs yet.” Bill also wrote the foreword for "I Have a Good Life."
Included in the newly released paperback, available to the public October 16, 2016, is the actual Doctor’s Report submitted by Adrian’s primary care physician who took care of him for over 11 years. There are also photos spanning the time period from Adrian’s birth through his healing and beyond.
From Marian Nygard, “Throughout this story, you will see that we have had our fair share of highs and lows, pain, panic, and countless surgeries, but you will also see a family that holds onto this truth: that God sees us all. He knows us and He will touch our lives. Our hope is that as you read this incredible story you see God’s fingerprints, and that our experience helps you get to know him better and love him more.”
A video of the family’s story recently went viral on Facebook, quickly reaching over 2.2 million people, with over 14,000 shares. The video can be found on Marian’s Facebook page at: https://www.fb.com/storiesfromagoodlife/
