Announcing Early Registration for the 31st Annual iaedp™ Symposium
Pekin, IL (PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) Foundation’s 2017 Symposium, slated for March 21 – 26, 2017, has opened registration, and through January 16, 2017, iaedp Symposium rates will be lower for members and non-members. The internationally known conference celebrates another milestone year as it prepares for its 31st annual conference at the Green Valley Resort and Spa in Henderson, Nevada.
The annual iaedp Symposium (iaedp.com) offers four days of training sessions and instructive presentations with world-renowned experts from various disciplines in the field of eating disorders as well as serves eating disorder professionals from around the world. “Our mission is to present the leading authorities in research and treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring addictions with the critical intent to educate professionals and promote effective, high-quality treatment for patients,” said Bonnie Harken, Managing Director at the iaedp Foundation.
In the two days prior to the start of the iaedp 2017 Symposium is the return of precertification courses for professionals. For experienced eating disorders professionals who qualify, this program is a pathway to the certification process. This program also offers professionals new to the field or who do not specialize in eating disorders an opportunity for the most comprehensive training with a current overview of eating disorder diseases and eating disorder treatment approaches.
On or prior to January 16, 2017, registration for iaedp certified members is $575; for iaedp chapter members, $600; for members, $625; and for non-iaedp members, $700. The precertification course, offered on March 21 and 22, is a separate track for $200 or combined with a 2017 Symposium registration for an additional $100. After January 16, 2017, all costs increase by $50. For more information about registration, go to iaedp.com.
