ProviDyn Becomes Authorized Commercial Reseller of Microsoft Surface Products
(PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- ProviDyn, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, today announced it is now an authorized reseller, through Ingram Micro, for Microsoft Surface products. With the agreement, ProviDyn is approved to sell all Microsoft Surface devices and accessories to any commercial customer.
“This agreement gives us a unique opportunity to offer our customers highly competitive pricing on some of the most popular computing products in the industry,” said ProviDyn CEO Hamish Davidson. “We can now give customers direct access to all Microsoft Surface devices and accessories paired with ProviDyn’s targeted technical assistance for setup, training and more.”
The Microsoft Surface family consists of several portable, business-grade devices. The line, which has been praised by users and the press for its advanced design, functionality and accommodating workforce productivity features, includes:
- Surface Book: A full-featured, 1.73-pound laptop with a built-in keyboard and 13.5 inch, six-million-pixel display—1.8 million more than a 13 inch MacBook Pro
- Surface Pro 4: A blazing fast, low-heat tablet with a five-million-pixel, 267dpi resolution, multi-touch display and add-on keyboard for laptop functionality
- Surface 3: The previous addition of the popular tablet, value priced and perfect for traditional business productivity functions
Through its agreement, ProviDyn will be offering an array of Surface add-ons and peripheral components, as well as two Ingram Micro-exclusive bundles:
- The Surface Book Desktop bundle (device and docking station) in three different power configurations
- The Surface Pro Productivity Bundle (device and keyboard/cover) in the popular Intel Core i5, 256 GB storage/8GB memory configuration
All Surface devices include the professional-grade Surface Pen, which offers best-in-class latency and surface sensitivity that makes it work and feel like a fountain pen. Microsoft also offers varied customization options. For example, the base Surface Book comes standard with a sixth-generation Intel Core i5 processor paired with a 128GB solid state drive (SSD) and 8GB of memory. Purchasers can upgrade in stages to a faster, more powerful Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD.
