Predii Repair Intelligence to Debut at IOT Solutions World Congress
(PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- Predii founder and CEO, Tilak Kasturi, will introduce the Palo Alto company’s new ‘Repair Intelligence’ (TM) product at the IOT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on October 26, 2016.
"Predii’s technology powers the majority of the world’s automotive diagnostics tools, and has processed over 1.5 billion automotive repair cases and 100 billion IoT events," said Kasturi. "Now the underlying technology is being made available to other customers and industries for the first time."
Repair Intelligence is an innovative example of applied artificial intelligence (AI), which melds extensive service knowledge with connected sensors and telemetry data to create new insights for repair and maintenance. Predii uses these, in combination with proprietary machine learning algorithms, to analyze symptoms and suggest the most likely root causes of equipment failures. This culminates in a 'guided repair' feature which augments human service technicians with targeted information that dramatically accelerates the repair process.
The presentation will also provide a practical case-study for integrating AI systems in the enterprise, and inspire the audience to consider the power and impact this kind of technology is capable of. By covering current and near-future possibilities in the analysis of both historical and real-time data sets, Kasturi will show how companies can increase the uptime of mission-critical equipment, boost efficiency in repair and maintenance scenarios, and build innovative new products not previously possible.
