Bill Howe Plumbing’s Marketing Director Chosen as Finalist for Women Who Mean Business Award

Julie Riddle was nominated for the 23rd annual San Diego Business Journal Award, Women Who Mean Business, by Tina Howe and Marketing Assistant Stacey Biondo. The award recognizes women leaders and pioneers who have significantly contributed to the community and their industry.
Julie has been head of Marketing at the local plumbing company since 2013. She successfully headed the 35th Anniversary Promotions and website redesign, submitted multiple award nominations for the company, created and oversees the “Howe” to video series educating customers about their plumbing and heating & air services, along with this, she has grown the department by adding an assistant to continue the efforts the company’s social media. In addition to her marketing efforts within the community, Julie is a regular volunteer with the San Diego Food Bank in conjunction with the company’s volunteer team, and outside of work, volunteers at San Diego Humane Society in Oceanside.
She spearheads the Wellness initiative within the company, as well as supporting the efforts of in the recent UT Best of SD Poll where Bill Howe was Named as San Diego’s best Plumber. Julie is also behind the recognition program of Bill Howe’s employees ensuring that everyone is recognized for their achievements, birthdays, and anniversaries.
The San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award Ceremony will take place on November 9 at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center. The luncheon will be Emceed by Pat Brown and Susan Taylor to honor over 160 finalists.
Previous recipients for the WWMB Honoree at Bill Howe include Tina Howe, a two-time winner, Jaime Stolis, Amber Baynard, and Jessica Kalloch.
