Achieving Oracle Validated Integration through Oracle Partner Network gives our customers confidence that the integration between OrderNotes Plus® and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 has been validated and that the products work together as designed.

WhiteLight Group, a Gold level member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of OrderNotes Plus with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2. This integration allows JD Edwards customers to seamlessly integrate with WhiteLight Group’s best in class order management tool.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a rigorous set of requirements based on the needs and priorities of Oracle customers. “We’re glad to be able to partner with Oracle and its global customer base to bring WhiteLight Group’s innovative order management tool across a range of languages and geographies to Oracle’s JD Edwards user base,” said Paul Demes, WhiteLight Group Partner.

OrderNotes Plus is an efficient way for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne users to communicate internally with colleagues and externally with customers. The tool holds a repository of information specific to an item or customer that can be automatically reused repeatedly to save time and create efficiencies.

Integration Details:

Order notes are pieces of communication intended to reach specific people inside and outside of an organization. Some of the pieces may be specific to a particular operation, such as order taking or order picking. Other pieces may be specific information intended for only the customer. In any case, communication now has an intended receiver, and not all communication is intended for everyone.

Product Highlights Include:

  • End Use - OrderNotes Plus acts as a channel to pass the correct pieces of information to the right people, while preventing it from getting to the wrong people. In other words, if you are using the End Use field on sales orders, OrderNotes Plus can be written to only include specific end uses.
  • Document type specific notes - OrderNotes Plus can be specific to a certain document type.
  • Item Lifecycle Notes - OrderNotes Plus can define the life cycle of an item and prevent sales orders from accepting an item before or after its life cycle. For example, you may have certain items that are supposed to be available during promotional periods, and OrderNotes Plus ensures smooth communication between internal and external functions. Communications around the life cycle of an item order will only be seen by the right people and at the right time. It uses Effective Dates to determine if an item should be on a sales order. OrderNotes Plus forces an order line to go On Hold if the item should not be sold on a specific date or range of dates.
