SJWD Water District Selects Motors@Work TM to Facilitate and Enhance Energy Savings

Joining the growing community of Motors@Work users in the Water and Waste Water industry, SJWD will be utilizing Motors@Work to identify inefficient or oversized motors, operating non-conformities and design change modifications, power quality anomalies, and repair and replacement countermeasures and economics. SJWD will leverage Motors@Work’s patent-pending Multi-Source Pumping Optimization tool to automate its existing manual process of generating daily pumping schedules. This will enable the utility to meet current and future demand while operating pumping systems at the lowest possible energy cost. Additionally, SJWD plans to leverage Motors@Work’s pre-defined integration with IBM Maximo to provide a full life-cycle management solution for motors and their driven systems.
