Lynxspring, Inc., (http://www.lynxspring.com) a global market leader in solutions for intelligent buildings and edge-to-enterprise integration announced today that they are sponsoring Matty, a new puppy at Paws for Freedom.
Lynxspring is a premier developer and provider of internet-based automation technology and edge-to-enterprise solutions for smart buildings, energy management, cyber threat and protection, intelligent equipment controls, and machine-to-machine and IoT applications.
Paws for Freedom is an organization that trains service dogs primarily, but not exclusively, for people who use wheelchairs. These dogs are taught to retrieve dropped items, open and close doors, turn lights on and off, and alert their handler in certain situations. It takes approximately two to three years for these dogs to gain this sort of training, education, and social ability.
Beginning at eight weeks of age, Paws for Freedom dogs start to learn basic obedience and social skills, including outings to public places. Matty, a cute, adorable Chocolate Labrador puppy was named by the Lynxspring employees and will spend, at least two years “going to school” in the START Club Program, while at the same time receiving advanced training and extensive socialization from trained people at Paws for Freedom.
“Speaking for all of us at Lynxspring, we are extremely excited to be part of this outstanding program and we also look forward to visits from Matty to our office from time to time,” shares Marc Petock, Vice-President of Marketing at Lynxspring. Product Executive, Rick Gibson, adds, “This commitment will change and influence someone’s life for the good. Matty will be trained, loved and cared for while preparing to serve someone in need.”
