Michael Dreyfus, CEO of Dreyfus Sotheby’s International Realty, attended the recent Sotheby’s Hong Kong Autumn Sales 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The Silicon Valley real estate brokerage sponsored the event, and another associate with deep roots in the Asian market, Ella Yan Liang, attended with Mr. Dreyfus.
The event saw more than twenty auctions over five days – September 30 through October 5 – achieving US$285 million in sales. Highlights from the event, which included a special auction curated by Korean star T.O.P., are available on the Sotheby’s web site.
“Our unique association with the Sotheby’s Auction House provides Dreyfus Sotheby’s International Realty with a valuable connection to the global real estate market that no other brokerage in Silicon Valley can claim,” says Michael Dreyfus. “We were able to showcase our extraordinary listings, and some new technology, to a highly qualified audience of potential buyers and sellers with a great deal of interest in Silicon Valley.”
The company showcased 3D virtual reality tours of a resort-like home in Los Altos Hills, California, using Matterport technology. Sotheby's International Realty recently made news with the announcement that sothebysrealty.com will now support embedded 3D and VR tours.
The presence of Dreyfus Sotheby's International Realty in Hong Kong served to strengthen its ties with the extensive worldwide network of Sotheby’s International Realty real estate agents, an invaluable resource in a Silicon Valley marketplace that is increasingly global.
